The India national field hockey team is the national men's team on behalf of field hockey in India, proscribed by Hockey India, the governing organization for field hockey in India. It’s a First non-European team to be a piece of the International Hockey partnership.
In 1928, the hockey team won its first Olympic gold medal and until 1956, the Indian men's teams remain victorious in the Olympics, charming six gold medals in rows.
